Searching for an independent 
freelance paragliding tandem pilot?

Growing up in Flanders, Belgium, I attended a Sports & Science High school. Soon after, I continued my studies at the University of Ghent where I graduated with a Masters in Sport- & Movement Science, with a major in Sport Management.

 

After gaining experience in a winter sports travel company and developing my organisational skills, being tied to an office was too restrictive. I decided to focus on further developing my paragliding skills. I became an assistant instructor and tandem pilot in 2016. After 3 years of teaching paragliding at various skill levels, I became proficient in radio guidance and theoretical education. Accompanied by the flight school, I had the opportunity to familiarise myself with all different types of flying and gliders; A to D; thermals, to acrobatics and speed flying.

 

While expanding my paragliding network I found the right time and place to become a full-time tandem pilot. My experience with sports psychology, teaching and my personal empathy is the perfect combination to guide my passengers in a calming & trustworthy way, taking away any doubts & uncertainties and giving them the possibility to enjoy their flight to the fullest.
